Privacy
My Language Saga, also shown as Language Saga, is in alpha development. This page explains the current privacy behavior visible in the site code. It is meant to be clear and practical, not a complete legal document.
Account Data
When you create an account, the site stores your email address and a password hash. The backend code hashes passwords before storing them; it does not store the plain password.
Learning Data
The site can store saved translations, original text, normalized original text, translated text, source and target language data, detected language data, source page or game identifiers, translation status, reason fields, timestamps, and quiz/progress fields such as correct count, SRS level, last attempt, and next due date.
Session And Security Data
The site uses a login session token cookie named token. Session records can include the token, user ID, session history link, expiry date, and remember-me state. Session history can include login method, login time, logout time where applicable, logout reason, user agent, and IP address.
How Data Is Used
This data is used for login and session management, saving dictionary and translation history, quiz and progress features, and improving or debugging the alpha site.
Third-Party Sites
My Language Saga includes links to external games, resources, books, software, media, and a contact form service. Embedded or external games and resources may have their own privacy practices. External links open third-party sites.
Advertising
The current site includes ad slots and placeholder ad areas. Future advertising may involve third-party services. No active analytics system was found in the repository evidence reviewed for this page.
Data Sharing
No repository evidence was found that the site sells personal data. The site does not intentionally sell personal data.
